Tim Tebow embraces mother, Pam, during a pre-game ceremony in 2009. Controversial pro-life ad featuring Tebow will air during 2010's Super Bowl.
Out with the gay-date ManCrunch (kinda silly sounding still) ad, in with the pro-life Christian ad. Let it be official the Pro bowl roots for pro-life.
Tim Tebow, Heisman superstar of the Florida Gators and possibly a future big league player, is the star of the 30-second ad which will focus on the quarterback and his mother, Pam, as they share a story about how she gave birth to him in the Philippines in 1987 after battling a doctor’s advice to have an abortion for medical reasons.
It may be too much of a risk to label the NFL and CBS super-advocates for pro-life, but the ruling on running the controversial religious hop topic is quite historical since broadcasting and marketing experts say it’s the first politically tinged advocacy ad to ever air air during the Super Bowl. The expected audience for the big show will project up to 100 million viewers.
