Never heard of ’em? Well, you need to. He’s one of the coolest English blue-eyed soul converts to emerge out of the traditions of Euro-synth electronica.

Word leaked out that a major list of soulful talents are planning to appear on Compass, Lidell’s next album. Beck, Fiest, Stax soul queen Nikka Costa, legendary R&B drummer James Gadson and Grizzly Bear’s Chris Taylor are set to give the UK lad a big boost for his next album. The album drops on May 18; courtesy of Warp Records.
