Gabourey Sidibe confesses to Access Hollywood correspondent Billy Bush that she would "hit that;" referring to "300" actor Gerard Butler.
On the red carpet, prior to the Academy’s big night, Access Hollywood host Billy Bush approached Gabourey Sidibe, the lead actress in the Lee Daniels’ directed film Precious: Based on the Novel ‘Push’ by Sapphire, and quizzed her a little about her first experience at the Oscars. Gabby told Bush that she met Gerard Butler, the hunk who donned the armor in the bloody epic picture “300″, for the first time Saturday night but messed up after making a mistake of stepping on his foot. Ouch! That had to hurt.
She confessed she had the hots for him. “He’s kinda sexy,” Gabby told Billy Bush. “I’d hit that.”
Bush later called the “300″ star over to the cameras and…well…watch for yourself.
It was all fun, cute and delightful to watch. But c’mon Sidibe…a threesome with Bush and Butler? Reality-check, people.
There is some more welcoming news for the “Precious” star. She was the most popular star at a post-Oscar party hosted by Vanity Fair. And she is also joining the cast of “The Big C,” which airs on Showtime.
The show centers on Cathy (Laura Linney) a suburban housewife and teacher diagnosed with terminal cancer. Sidibe will play a smart-mouthed student in Cathy’s class. Oliver Platt stars as Cathy’s husband. “The Big C” will begin production in May for a late summer premiere.
